Soraya & Hank | Engaged | Pittsburgh

I really really do love Engagement Sessions. You'd be surprised to know that we don't meet a lot of our couples face-to-face before they hire us so a lot of times when we show up on an e-session we're actually meeting for the first time. Now, I'm an email junkie so the bride and myself have typically established a comfortable relationship by the time we meet but still, it's always nice to put a face with a name. This was the case with Soraya & Hank. Soraya and I chatted thru email and got to know each other and  connected instantly. But we were thrilled that they chose to do an e-session with us because I love getting to know our couples in-person a bit before the bid day. It gives them a taste of our personalities and how we work. And we get to know what our couples like and don't like, mostly we get to see how their chemistry works so we know how to approach their style of photography. It's a win/win, I'd say.

I am very happy to report that Soraya and Hank had no problem just melting into each other at the snap of a shutter. John and I could see instantly that their chemistry was dead-on and the photos you'll see below show that. And now we know what to expect on the wedding day: unabashed, easy-going, romantic love. Not bad. ;-)
